Couple Portrait:  Rd & Kriska

Yes, I also shoot people in colour.  As all of you may have noticed, I’m fond of converting portraits into black and white.  The reason behind that is first, I’m in the process of building my black and white photo book.  2nd, portraits in black and white are more dramatic and conveys an idea of a story compared to coloured images (well for me, in that case).  3rd, I just like it that way (plain and simple).

But that’s not always the case.  Many portraits are just better to look at in colour especially people smiling dead straight on the camera.   Bright saturated colours in portraits bring out emotions of happiness.
